Eligibility: Search For Dolly Casting Call is open to all. Parents and/or legal guardians may submit a video on behalf of individuals under the age of 18 years old. Void where prohibited by law.

Promotional Period: The Casting Call begins on December 5, 2024 and ends on January 12, 2025 at 11:59pm ET .

How to Enter: No purchase necessary to enter. Participants can enter the Casting Call by following the guidelines listed on the website. Only one entry (the first one submitted) per person will be considered. All entries must be received by the end date listed above to be considered.   


Personal Data: Proof of age, identity, residency, and eligibility may be requested. The Organizer’s decision as to the eligibility of individual entrants will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

The Organizer reserves the right and participants hereby grant permission to the Organizer to share any content submitted to the #SearchForDolly Casting Call hashtag and through the Dolly Musical website and social media channels.

The Organizer reserves the right to remove any entry which breaches any of these terms and conditions.

The Organizer reserves the right to cancel or alter this Casting Call at any stage. In this event, a notice will be posted on this website.

The Organizer reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any stage, including changing or substituting the selection process and opportunities. In this event, a notice will be posted on this website.

Judging Criteria: Entries will be judged by a panel of judges appointed by the Organizer. The panel’s decisions are final and binding in all respects. Successful candidates will be invited to an in-person audition for DOLLY: An Original Musical. There is no guarantee of audition or paid work. There is no guarantee that any entrants will be selected for an in-person audition.

Winner Notification: Winners will be notified by email within 48 hours following the conclusion of the judging. Organizer is not responsible for any delay or failure to receive notification for any reason, including inactive email accounts, technical difficulties associated therewith, or winner’s failure to adequately monitor any email account.

If you are offered paid work opportunities after the Casting Call ends, you will be required to enter into a separate contract with The Ambassador Theatre Group Limited, including its standard terms and conditions.

Rights and Usage: Ownership of Entries: Participants retain ownership of all intellectual property rights in their original submitted video, subject to the licenses granted herein and permission to use participant’s name, performance, photograph, likeness, voice, address (city and state) in connection therewith.

Grant of Rights: By participating in the Casting Call, each participant grants Organizer and its sponsors a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display, reproduce, distribute, and publish participant’s submitted video in connection with the Casting Call, for the purposes of publicizing the Casting Call, its participants, and the Organizer, across any media formats and through any media channels, including social media, indefinitely.

Indemnification: Participant agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Organizer and its sponsors from and against any suits, losses, claims, demands, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including attorney and accounting fees) that the Organizer or its sponsors may sustain or incur as a result of any claim by a third party arising out of or connected with any breach or alleged breach by the participant of any of the terms and conditions of this Casting Call, including but not limited to claims of infringement of a third party’s intellectual property rights.

General Conditions: The Organizer reserves the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify the Casting Call, or any part of it, if any fraud, technical failures or any other factor beyond the Organizer’s reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Casting Call, as determined by the Organizer in its sole discretion.

Limitations of Liability: The Organizer is not responsible for: (1) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by entrants, printing errors or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Casting Call; (2) technical failures of any kind, including, but not limited to malfunctions, interruptions, or disconnections in phone lines or network hardware or software; (3) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Casting Call; (4) technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the Casting Call or the processing of entries; or (5) any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant’s participation in the Casting Call.

Terms and Conditions: By participating, you agree to be fully unconditionally bound by these Terms and Conditions, and you represent and warrant that you meet the eligibility requirements set forth herein. In addition, you agree to accept the decisions of Organizer, as final and binding as it relates to the content.

General: The Casting Call and these Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the law of the State of New York, without application of conflicts of laws principles. If permitted by law, any and all disputes of any kind or nature whatsoever arising out of the Casting Call or these Terms and Conditions shall be finally determined by individual (i.e., non-class) binding arbitration held before a three-arbitrator panel of the American Arbitration Association seated in New York City; or if not so permitted, shall be heard on an individual (i.e., non-class) basis in a state or federal court located in New York County, New York. Organizer’s failure to enforce any provision of these Terms and Conditions shall not indicate and shall not be construed as a waiver by Organizer of any right it has or has reserved hereunder, and shall not prevent Organizer from subsequently enforcing such provision. If any part of these Terms and Conditions is determined to be invalid or illegal by any legal authority of competent jurisdiction, then that part shall be curtailed to the minimum extent necessary to make such provision valid and legal (or if such provision cannot be made valid and legal, it shall be struck from these Terms and Conditions), and all remaining provisions of these Terms and Conditions shall remain in full force and effect.
